Program Notes

Night Visions is a single movement work based on a dream a good friend had. When I asked her during a chat on Facebook what I should write a piece about, she replied, “Stardust. Like looking up at the sky and seeing the stars and watching this golden dust swirl down around you and as you reach up to touch it, you disappear. Cause you’re dead. And you become the stars.” I try to capture the sounds of reflecting on the stars alone at night – as I often do myself.
